Fruit Cocktail Cake
1/2 c sugar
2 c flour
17 oz can fruit cocktail
2 eggs
1 ts vanilla
1 stick butter
1 c sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 c coconut
1 c nuts (optional)
Mix sugar and eggs. Add flour and juice from fruit. Mix well. Add
fruit and vanilla. Pour into pans, bake at 350 until golden brown.
Boil butter, sugar, and Pet milk from icing section about 10 minutes.
Add the coconut and optional nuts to this and top cake.

Recipe lacks BAKING SODA, November 24, 2004 - 11:37 PM

This recipe does not include baking soda; therefore, will not bake properly. I would suggest using another recipe for Fruit Cocktail Cake.
