Light Fruit Cake
1 lb butter
1 lb flour
2 pkts mixed fruit
1 teaspoon each essence lemon and vanilla and glycerine
1 lb sugar
9 eggs
pinch salt
Cream butter and sugar add eggs then sifted flour, and essences.
Place into a round or square tin well greased and lined with
greaseproof paper. Cook 3 hours 325C degrees.
