Gingerbread

Make your favorite recipe of gingerbread that fits into an 8x8x2
inch baking pan.

Melt 2 T. butter in the pan. Add 1/2 C. light molasses and 1/4
C. raisins. Heat.

Arrange 2 sliced apples in the molasses mixture in the bottom of
the pan. Pour gingerbread batter over and bake at 350 degrees for
50 minutes.

While hot, cut into squares and flip servings upside down onto
individual dessert plates. Offer whipped cream flavored with a
small amount of powdered ginger or nutmeg, or ice cream as an
embellishment.
