Graham Cracker Cake

12 full-size graham crackers, crushed (1 3/4 cups)
1/2 cup flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 sticks (3/4 cups) butter, softended
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup milk
3/4 cup chopped pecans

2 1/2 cups chilled whipping cream
1/3 cup confectioners' sugar
Graham crackers, crushed, optional

Combine graham cracker crumbs, flour and baking powder in a small
bowl; set aside.

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 7 minutes.
Add eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla. Beat in flour mixture,
alternating with milk until combined. Stir in nuts. Pour into
two 8" cake pans. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes.

For frosting, whip cream until it starts to thicken and add the
sugar.
