Gelatin Poke Cake
1 pkg white cake mix or pudding-included cake mix
1 pkg ( 3 oz) Jello, any flavor
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. cold water
Prepare cake batter as directed on package and pour into well-greased
and floured 13X9-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes, or
until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool cake in
pan 15 minutes, then prick with fork at 1/2 inch intervals. Meanwhile,
dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add cold water and carefully pour
over cake. Chill 3 to 4 hours. Garnish with whipped topping, if
desired.

This is an excelent Dessert after a large dinner. It is moist and light and my Family enjoy it very much.
