PUMPKIN CAKE
2 cups all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
4 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups canned pumpkin (16 oz can)
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
6 oz pkg chocolate chips
Grease and flour a large tube pan.
Put all dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix in eggs, oil,
pumpkin with nuts and chocolate chips last. Mix well.
Put mixture in pan and bake in a moderate oven (350 deg) for about
an hour, or until springy when touched.
Must be cooked in a tube pan, needs no frosting. Makes a LARGE
CAKE.
