Tomato Spice Cake

1 cup crisco
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cans of condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
4 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
4 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp cloves
2 cups raisins
Frosting:
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup crisco
1 lb powder sugar
1 tsp vanilla
4 to 5 tbs cold milk

Grease and flour a large tube pan. Preheat oven to 350.

Cream crisco and sugar and eggs until very smooth. Blend in tomato
soup with baking soda until smooth.

Sift dry ingredients and beat into soup mixture until well blended.
Fold in the raisins.

Pour into the pan and bake middle oven rack 1 hour or until tested
done. Cool 15 minutes in the pan and remove to cool completely.

Frost when cool. Cream butter and crisco smooth. Blend in powder
sugar and vanilla, thinning with enough milk to make smooth.
