3 cups farina
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 cups honey
2 cups yogurt
1/2 cup almonds, blanched and coarsely chopped, optional
2 tbs frozen orange juice concentrate

3 cups honey
2 1/2 cups water
1 thin slice orange

Sift together farina, flour, baking powder and baking soda into a
large mixing bowl. Add 1 1/2 cups honey, the yogurt, almonds, if
used, and orange juice concentrate. Stir until the mixture is well
combined. Pour the batter into a well greased 9" by 13" baking pan
and bake in a preheated oven until top is a light chestnut color,
about 45 mintues.

While the cake is baking, make a syrup by combining honey, water
and orange slice in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower the heat
and simmer for 5 minutes. Skim the froth and remove the orange
slice. As soon as you remove the cake from the oven, pour the hot
sryup over it. Do not cut the cake until all suyrup is absorbed
and cake has cooled.
