Chinese Chews
12 ounces butterscotch chips 1 cup peanuts 2 cups chow mein noodles
Melt butterscotch chips in a double boiler or in a microwave. If using a microwave, place chips in a 2 quart microwaveable bowl, cover, and cook 2 minutes on high. Remove from microwave, stir until smooth.
Stir in peanuts and chow mein noodles. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper. Let cool before eating. Store in an airtight container.
If desired, use 6 oz. chocolate chips and 6 oz. butterscotch chips instead of straight butterscotch.

Amazing Chinese Chews, January 20, 2004 - 07:02 PM
Reviewer: Anonymous from Virginia
I needed a recipe for my World History class because we are doing a International Food Day so we had to make a foreign food. So my uncle told me about the Chinese Chews so i was like ok. And these things are excellent.
