Coffee Fudge

COFFEE FUDGE
2 cups sugar
1 cup strong black coffee
2 tbsp heavy cream
1/2 cup chopped almonds
Butter 8" square pan. Combine all ingredients in a heavy pan and
boil for 8 minutes (to soft ball stage -- 234F). If desired, add
nuts. Beat until smooth and creamy; pour into pan; cool and cut
into squares.
