Stir in dates and nuts. When cool enough to handle, form these ingredients into a roll with buttered hands. Wrap the roll in tin foil. Chill and slice later. It is a favorite. My mothers was always too soft, and my dads was always too hard and grainy. Since the ingrediants are pricey, use a candy themometer to get it just right, goldilocks.
