Halvah

1/4 cup tahini (sesame butter)
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
1/2 cup wheat germ
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
2 tablespoons carob powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
crushed walnuts

Combine tahini and honey in a medium bowl.

Put the in coconut, wheat germ and sunflower seeds in a blender
and puree to a powder.

Combine with the tahini and honey. Add carob and cinnamon and knead
it until it resembles a ball of dough.

Separate into 4 portions. Roll each portion into a 1" thick roll.
Roll each in crushed walnuts. wrap each roll in waxed paper and
refrigerate. Cut into 1/4" thick slices as needed. Makes 4 rolls,
each 6" long. Each roll equals 24 slices.

NOTES : If you want plain halvah, leave out the carob and cinnamon
and add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
