Chocolate Haystacks
Yield: 4 Dozen
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup cocoa
3 1/2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 tsp vanilla
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa; bring
to a boil. Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredients.
Drop from a teaspoon onto waxed paper; work quickly as the mixture
hardens quickly.
