Maple Butterscotch
1 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup butter
1/2 cup water
Bring to a boil and cook without stirring until a drop in cold
water separates into pliable threads. (285 degrees F). Turn into
a buttered 8-inch square pan. Mark into squares while still soft.
Break when cold.
