Cornmeal Porridge Jamaica
Boil 1 pint of water in a pot with a pinch of salt, then add some bay leaf and whole cloves. Mix another 1 pint of water with 1/2 cup of yellow cornmeal until a smooth mixture is achieved. Pour the smooth mixture into pot while stirring. After three minutes lower the fire and stir occasionally, adding a few drops of Vanilla for taste. Cover pot and leave for 10 - 15 minutes. Serve hot.
