Mulligan Stew
2 large cans V8 1 small head cabbage, shredded 1 pound ground beef, browned and drained 1 small onion, chopped and sauteed in butter until translucent 1 1/4 cups uncooked white rice salt and pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients in a large stock pot and cook until everything is hot.
It is such a simple recipe. Very good on a cold winter night with homemade biscuits or cornbread. Try adding: green pepper, mushrooms, root vegetables, celery. Be creative and use your imagination.
