Noodles Romanoff 1 bag curly noodles cooked as directed 1 pint sour cream or less 1/2 pound Velveeta, mozzarella, cheddar, provolone, grated 3/4 cup milk or 1/2 cup milk and 1/4 cup heavy cream or half and half 1/4 cup unsalted butter Onion powder to taste Chives, optional Parmesan cheese, optional Bread crumbs tossed with a little melted butter, optional Heat the milk and butter. Gradually add the grated cheese stirring constantly until the cheese melts. Let cool-add the sour cream. Pour the cheese mixture over the cooked noodles and mix well. Sprinkle a little onion powder and chives into the mixture; pour into a buttered baking dish. If using bread crumbs, sprinkle them over the noodles. Parmesan cheese is also good mixed in with the bread crumb mixture.
Bake at 350F uncovered for about 45 minutes.
