Sausage and Peppers Parmesan

Parmesan Sauce
3 medium cans tomato paste
3 cans water
1 teaspoon black pepper
2 teaspoons garlic salt
1 tablespoon oregano
1 cup Parmesan cheese
Combine tomato paste, water, black pepper, garlic salt, and oregano in a sauce pot. Simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes, then remove from heat. Slowly stir in Parmesan cheese. Set aside.
8 Italian sausage links (mild or hot)
2 large bell peppers
2 medium onions
8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
Cook sausage throughly and then cut into bite size pieces, about 1 inch. Set aside. Saute onions and peppers, set aside.
In a casserole dish, put a enough of the sauce to cover the bottom. Next layer cooked sausage then onions and peppers. Pour the remainder of the sauce over the ingredients. Put mozzarella cheese over the top. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until cheese starts to brown. Serves 8.
