Chinese Dessert Cookies
2 1/4 c flour
1 t five spice powder
1/4 t salt
2 t baking powder
1 T milk
1/2 c shortening
1 c sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 t vanilla
Preheat oven to 375 F. Sift flour, spice powder, salt and baking
powder. Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Add
sifted ingredients and milk. Roll out and cut into shapes. Sprinkle
with sugar and bake in oven for 12 minutes at 375 F. Makes 2 1/2
dozen.
