CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES
4 oz cake flour or 6 oz all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla essence
4 oz granulated sugar
1.5 oz brown sugar
1 egg
3 oz vegetable shortening
Half a package of chocolate chips
Sift toogether the first three ingredients, then mix everything
else except the chocolate chips in thoroughly. Add the chocolate
chips. Drop teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet (well
spaced out - they spread) and bake for 10-12 minutes at 375F.
