Beat egg whites until stiff. While beating, slowly add sugar and salt. Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and vanilla. Cover cookie sheet with foil. Drop on foil; they do not raise or spread. It is SO EASY, attractive, and tasty. For festive occasions, add a little food coloring or different colored candy chips. These cookies just melt in your mouth.
