Drought Ginger Nuts 4 ozs margarine 1 teaspoon baking powder small cup sugar 2 teaspoons ground ginger pinch salt 2 cups plain flour 1/2 cup golden syrup 1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda 1 egg Rub margarine into dry ingredients; mix with beaten egg and add syrup. Roll into balls, and cook in a moderate oven. Should crack across tops.
