Ginger Snaps 4 cups flour 1 heaped teaspoon cream of tartar 4 tablespoons butter 2 eggs 2 tablespoons milk 4 teaspoons ground ginger 2 teaspoons baking soda 2 cups sugar 2 tablespoons golden syrup pinch salt Cream butter ans sugar, add eggs one by one then syrup, soda dissolved in milk, and lastly sifted flour, ginger and cream or tartar. Roll into small balls, walnut size and bake in moderate oven.
