Jan Hagels
makes 50 3 x 1 inch strips
Preheat oven to 350.
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbls. water
1/2 c. very finely chopped walnuts
Lightly grease jelly roll pan.
Mix butter, suagr and egg yolk together. Mix flour and cinnamon
and stir into butter mixture. Pat evenly into pan.
Beat water and egg white until frothy. Brush over dough. Sprinkle
with nuts.
Bake 20-25 min. or until very lightly browned.
Cut immediately into strips.
