Melting Moments
1 c butter
1/2 c sifted icing sugar
1 1/4 c all purpose flour
1/3 c cornstarch
Cream margarine, add sugar and beat well. Sift flour and cornstarch
together twice, gradually add to margarnine and sugar, beating
until smooth. Drop by 1/2 teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Cookies do not brown.
Lemon Frosting
1/4 c margarine or butter
1 & 1/2 c XXX sugar
2 T lemon juice
1 T grated lemon rind
Cream margarine; gradually add powdered sugar and lemon juice,
beating until smooth. Stir in lemon rind.
