Nova Scotia Oat Cakes Yield: 6 Dozen
3 c flour 3 c rolled oats 2 c sugar 2 ts salt 1 ts baking soda 2 c margarine 3/4 c cold water
Mix dry ingredients. Cut in margarine with pastry blender. Moisten with enough water to make a stiff dough. Roll out dough 1/2" thick on floured surface. Cut into squares of desired size. Bake on cookie sheet in preheated 350 F. oven for 15 minutes.
