Oatmeal Raisin 03

Chewy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
1 cup (2 sticks) margarine or butter, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups oats
1 cup raisins
Beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla
and beat in well. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt.
Add to butter mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats and raisins,
mixing well again. Drop by rounded tablespoonful onto ungreased
cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees.
