Peanut Butter 06

Peanut Butter Cookies
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 egg, room temp
2 tablespoons milk, room temp
1 tsp vanilla
Combine all ingredients and mix on low speed until dough forms.
Shape into balls (about 1inch diameter) and place on ungreased
cookie sheet. With a fork press down on each ball until dough
rises through tines of fork. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-12 minutes,
depending on whether you like a soft or crunchy cookie.
