Persimmon Cookies
1 c. sugar
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 tsp. each cinnamon, clove and nutmeg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. persimmon pulp
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
Mix together sugar, flour, spices and soda. Add persimmon and egg.
Stir in raisins and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet and bake 15-20 minutes in
350 oven. Cookies will be moist and will also freeze well.
