Persimmon Cookies
1/2 cup soft margarine
1 whole egg
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup rasins
1 cup mashed persimmon
Add soda to mashed persimmons, and set aside. Cream margarine,
sugar, and egg. Mix flour and spices to creamed margarine and add
nuts and raisins. Add thickened persimmon mix well. drop on to
cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees 15min.
