Sesame Crackers 02

Sesame Crackers 2 c unbleached flour 2 c whole wheat flour 1 tsp. salt 2 Tbsp. raw sugar 1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. sesame seeds 1 c. milk Sift together flours, salt and sugar. Cut in the butter until mixture resembles medium bread crumbs. Add the sesame seeds. Stir in milk; form dough into a ball and chill for about 15 minutes.
Preheat oven (400 F.) while dough chills. Roll chilled dough to 1/8 inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter, cookie cutter or knife, depending on desired shape. Brush tops with a little milk. Prick tops with a fork.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until crackers are as brown as you like them. Cool, then store in an airtight tin. May be reheated in oven to re-crisp, if they become soft.
