Snickerdoodles
1/2 cup softened butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
cinnamon sugar
Cream butter, shortening and sugar in bowl until light and fluffy.
beat in eggs. Add mixture of flour, salt and cream of tartar: mix
well. Shape into balls. Roll in cinnamon sugar. Place on greased
cookie sheet Bake at 400 degrees for 8 minutes or till light brown.
