Sugar Cookies
1 1/2 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
1 c. butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Mix sugar and butter. Mix in egg and flavorings. Blend dry
ingredients, then stir in. Refrigerate 2-3 hours.
Roll out to reasonnable thickness (sorry, I just eyeball it), cut,
and bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet at 375 for 7-8 minutes.
(Makes about 5 dozen.)
