Truffle Cookies
4 oz unsweetened chocolate
1 cup chocolate chips
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 t vanilla extract
1/2 cup flour
2 T cocoa powder
1 cup chocolate chips
1/4 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
Melt together chocolate, chocolate chips and butter. Cool 10 minutes.
Beat together in mixing bowl sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, cocoa,
chocolate chips, baking powder and salt. Then add the melted choc.
mixture to this and chill dough 3 hours. Form into balls and bake
on ungreased sheet at 350 degrees for 10-12 min. Roll in powdered
sugar after baking.
