Nutty Fig Squares
1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups finely chopped dried figs or dates
1 cup chopped nuts
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Beat eggs until foamy,
then beat in sugar and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix well.
Stir in figs and nuts. Spread in greased 9" square pan. Bake at
350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes. Cut into bars.
