Special K Cookie Bars
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup Karo (white corn syrup).
Add 2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
4 cups Special K cereal
1 pkg. butterscotch bits
3 regular-sized milk chocolate (Hershey) candy bars
Combine in large pan sugar and karo. Boil until the sugar is
dissolved. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Stir in Special K
cereal. Press into 8 or 9 inch buttered pan. Melt together
butterscotch bits and candy bars. Spread on top of bars; let cool;
cut into pieces.
