Bible Verse Bownies
1/4 cup oil (Proverbs 21:17)
1 T honey (Isaiah 7:15)
1 cup brown sugar
2 t vanilla
2 eggs (Deuteronomy 22:6)
1/2 cup chopped almonds (Genesis 43:11)
1 cup flour (Judges 6:19)
2/3 cup dry milk (Genesis 18:8)
1/2 t baking powder
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1 handful raisin (2 Samuel 16:1) (raisins)
powdered sugar
Mix together all ingredients except the dry milk, baking powder,
cocoa and powdered sugar. Combine dry milk, baking powder, and
cocoa and stir into wet ingredients. Spread in a greased 8" X 8"
pan. Bake at 350 F 30 minutes. Remove from pan. Cut into bars
while still warm. Sprinkle the tops with powdered sugar.
