Peanut Butter Chewy Brownies
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/3 cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
6 oz. (1 cup) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Blend peanut butter and butter until smooth. Gradually add sugars;
beat until fluffy and smooth. Add eggs, one at a time, beating
after each. Add sifted flour and salt and mix well. Stir in
chocolate chips and vanilla. Spread in buttered 9" square pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, or till nicely browned in
center (darker brown around edges). Cool in pan on cooling rack.
Cut into squares.
