Chocolate Nutty Heaven

2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup margarine, melted
3/4 cup baking cocoa (powder)
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

1/2 cup margarine, melted
3 cup powdered sugar
2/3 cup baking cocoa (powder)
1/3 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 tsp hazelnut syrup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees farenheit. Using a spoon, stir eggs
with sugar and vanilla; add margarine. Sift baking cocoa with flour,
baking powder and salt. Stir into egg mixture; add nuts (if wanted).
Spread into greased 8" or 9" square pan. Bake 20-30 minutes. For
extra chewy brownies, use 8" pan and less baking time. For cake,
like brownies, use 9" pan and longer baking time Cut into squares.
For extra rich, double chocolate flavor, stir in 1C of semi-sweet,
double chocolate or milk chocolate chips. Makes 16 to 20 brownies.

Stir cocoa into melted margarine. Alternately add powdered sugar
and milk, beating on medium speed to spreading consistency. Add
more milk, if needed (I didn't need to). Stir in vanilla and hazlenut
syrup. About 2 cups.
