White Chocolate Brownies

1/3 cup white chocolate chips
1 stick unsalted butter
2 eggs
1 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup almonds, chopped

Preheat oven to 325F. Grease and flour 8"x8" baking pan. Melt
white chocolate and butter in double boiler stirring constantly
until smooth; cool 3 minutes. Beat in eggs, sugar, and vanilla;
stir in flour, salt, and almonds. With a rubber spatula, scrape
batter into prepared pan. Bake for 40 minutes or until toothpick
comes out clean. Cool before cutting into squares. Makes 8 large
brownies.
