Beef and Olives

2-3 lbs chuck roast, trimmed of fat
1 small can black olives, drained and sliced
1 large can mushroom pieces, undrained
3 cloves garlic, crushed
15 oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp beef broth granules (or 2 cubes)
1/2 to 1 cup water (or up to 1 can beef broth)

Cut chuck into large pieces and place in crockpot. Add remaining
ingredients. Add enough water (or broth) to make the mixture a
soupy consistency. Stir to co at the meat. Cook on high for 1
hour, then low for 6-8. Remove meat and de-gre ase the sauce.
Sauce can also be thickened slightly if you desire. Serve with
egg noodles or mashed potatoes. Serves 4-6.
