SWEET AND SOUR BRISKET

6 lb. brisket, flat half, trimmed well
12 oz tomato sauce
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons brown sugar
3 tablespoons liquid smoke
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
1 tablespoon tarragon vinegar
Tabasco to taste
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon dry mustard
6 oz lemon lime soft drink

Trim brisket of all visible fat. Place brisket into slow cooker.
In mixing bowl, combine all of the above ingredients, mixing well.
Pour over brisket.

Cook on high heat for 2 hours or until sauce is bubbly. Turn heat
to low and cook for 7 hours or until done.

Yields 22 servings.
