Garbanzos and Couscous

1 small onion, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
1 14 1/2 ounce can diced tomatoes
1 15 ounce can garbanzo beans, drained
1 cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
3 cloves garlic, mined
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp. turmeric
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked couscous

Combine all ingredients except couscous in Crock-Pot. Mix thoroughly.
Cover, cook on Low 8 to 10 hours (High: 3 to 4 hours). Add cooked
couscous during last 15 minutes of cooking. 6 to 8 servings.
