You said on your web site that you loved cooking. Here is a recipe for a pot roast. This one is tried and true. The hardest test it had was last October when my other half took my crockpot hunting with him and made it for the guys while they were up hunting. It was a great success and they have asked that he make it again next year. Cyndi's Pot Roast 3-4 lb roast 2 cups water 1 cup concentrated Au Jus sauce Marinate for 2 days. 1 small bag baby carrots 2 large potatoes (large cubes) 1 large onion (sliced) 3 cloves of garlic (minced)
Take marinated beef and marinade (I marinated mine in the crock pot) and add vegetables. Add additional water to cover.
Cook for 12 hours on high and 9 hours on low. (I usually start mine around 7-8 at night cooking on high. I turn it down to low around 8-9 in the morning and let it cook on low until 5 in the evening.)
It is great and the meat seems to fall apart.
