Sloppy Joes 1 1/2 pounds ground beef 1/2 cup onion, chopped 1 clove garlic, minced 3/4 cup ketchup 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons vinegar 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 teaspoons chili pepper 2 tablespoons stoneground mustard hamburger buns
In a large skillet brown ground beef, onion and garlic. Cook until meat is brown and onion is tender. Drain off fat.
In any size Crock-Pot, combine the rest of the ingredients (except the hamburger buns). Stir in meat mixture. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or on high 3-4 hours. Spoon onto hamburger buns. Can substitute ground turkey, chicken or pork for ground beef.
