SPLIT PEA SOUP
2.5 cups split peas
1/2 cottage roll or ham nugget, diced
2 carrots, diced
1 onion, diced and sauteed until almost brown
6 cups of water
lots of black pepper
1 medium potato, diced
Combine ingredients in cooker. Cover and cook on low for 8 - 10
hours - stir when you can (especially coming home from work).
Makes 8 servings.
