Toasted Apple Sandwich, Lovely quick sweet treat!

TOASTED APPLE SANDWICH
Two slices of white bread, buttered
Half a red skinned apple, cored and sliced
Two strawberries, hulled and sliced
Sprinkling of cinnamon
Grated rind of one orange
Teaspoon of sugar
Heat a sandwich toaster. (Once it is hot enough wipe over with kitchen roll to remove any savory traces, i.e. onion smells). Place one slice of bread buttered side down, fill with sliced apple, sliced strawberries, grated orange zest and a sprinkling of cinnamon and a sprinkling of sugar. Top with next slice of buttered bread, butter side up. Toast until golden brown and serve hot with ice cream or fresh cream.
