MILLIONAIRES CAKE
1 yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (sm.) instant pudding, pineapple or vanilla
1 (8 oz) pkg. Cream Cheese, softened
1 large (22 oz) can crushed pineapple
1 large (16 oz) container Cool Whip
nuts, cherries or coconut (or all if you like them!)
Bake 1/2 of the cake mix in a 9 X 13" pan till done. (Use other
half for cupcakes or another cake- I make the whole thing in a 13
X 18" pan for big parties, then I double the other ingredients)
Prepare pudding as directed on package, beating in the softened
cream cheese till well blended. Spread over cake. Drain pineapple
and squeeze out excess juice. Distribute over pudding mixture.
Spread Cool Whip over all. Decorate with nuts, cherries or toasted
coconut. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
