Chocolate Truffle Cheesecake

1 1/2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
2 T. sugar
1/4 cup melted butter

1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup whipping cream
24 oz softened cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
3 eggs
1 t. vanilla extract

1/4 cup whipping cream
1 t. vanilla extract

Heat oven to 350F. Combine crumbs, sugar and butter. Press onto
bottom and 1 1/2-inch up sides of greased 9 springform pan. Bake
for 10 min. Cool on rack.

Reduce oven temperature to 325F. Melt chocolate chips. Stir in
cream and mix well. Set aside. Beat cream cheese and sugar until
smooth. Add cocoa and beat well. Add eggs, beat on low till just
combined. Stir in vanilla and chocolate mixture until just blended.
Pour over crust. Bake for 45-50 min. or until center is almost set.
Topping

Melt chips, Stir in cream and vanilla until smooth. Spread over
filling. Refrigerate overnight. Run knife around edge of pan to
loosen. Just before serving, garnish with whipped cream and
miniature chocolate kisses if desired.
