Yield: 8 Servings
1 1/2 c chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
1/2 c margarine, melted
8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened
1/4 c sugar
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 ts vanilla
6 oz pkg Chocolate chips, melted and cooled
2 egg whites
1/4 c heavy cream, whipped
3/4 c finely chopped nuts
whipped cream For garnish, if desired
Combine cookies and margarine and press into the bottom of a 9"
springform pan. Bake at 325 for 10 minutes.
Combine cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla, mixing until well blended.
Stir in egg yolks and melted chocolate bits. Beat egg whites and
sugar. Fold in egg white mixture, whipped cream, and nuts. Pour
over crumbs and freeze.
Serve with whipped cream, if desired.
